This is a staple for my husband and I. The staff know us by now. There food is legit mostly made in house like salad dressings abd salsa. Very friendly and just a cute cozy diner feel. We do big family gatherings here or just a simple morning out breakfast is two. Always room, always inviting and just our fav.
48,000,000+ views on my Google reviews Level 9 expert google reviewer A fun stop at this 50’s diner! The staff are friendly enough. The space is large with a nice layout, and the location is convenient with free parking. The food itself isn’t anything extraordinary, but prices are reasonable for what you get. Overall, a solid experience worth a visit.
Amazing. Home made caesar salad dressing always makes it hard for me to order something different. We’ve been many times for breakfast and lunch and always enjoy ourselves. They are now serving dinner as well! You cannot go wrong with anything you order here. Breakfast is good - perfect crispy home fries. The burgers are good.If you want a TRULY massive and tasty smoked meat sandwich this is also the place to go. The chicken fingers have a nice light breading and are made fresh in house. I’ll add more photos in the future. Try it out for yourself.
Excellent food in 50’s style atmosphere. I had the Taco skillet off the breakfast menu and it was absolutely delicious. We will be returning soon.
I am a sucker for older diners, and this one has that vintage charm to it. It's spacious, but sadly, it works somewhat against them because of how lean they are staffed. We got eggs, steak omlette, and banana pancakes with coffee, and it came up to 52 CAD. The flavor was just ok - the rye bread was hard and dry, and the potatoes were nice and crispy. The pancakes were strangely flakey and came with a container of table syrup - i think part of eating pancakes at a diner is the act of overdosing on table syrup and I felt like I missed out on that opportunity lol I would return to this joint to try out some of their lunch menu for some redemption.
Dated but fun interior but big menu, great food and reasonable prices. Good service
50s Diner caught my eye and we had to try it and so glad we did!! We were greeted at the door with a friendly smile and escorted to our table. The service was fast and our server Macklin, was excellent!! The 50s atmosphere was nostalgic with golden oldies playing and iconic posters from an era of simpler times long gone. The food was served hot and perfectly cooked. We will be going back. The breakfast menu looked pretty tempting too. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best place in Hamilton for home comfort food, massive portions (we get take home boxes every time theres so much left after) great staff, and really yummy well made food. My fav part is surprisingly after lunch the diner gets pretty empty for supper and me and my boyfriend get lucky to have the whole place to ourselves! :)
